Multicam 5000 spindle turning CCW

Recently had a used Series 5000 installed. The spindle turn CCW.
Is it as easy as reversing two wires in the cabinet to change rotation.

Even the sample programs in the controller have it spin incorrectly. same sample program ran fine when the machine was inspected prior to purchase.
Former owner sent a sample file that they ran on this machine the day before uninstall and that runs incorrectly.
Post does not insert an M03 and I would rather not mess with the post, even if it fixes this issue. The former owner wants us to do some his overflow and I would like to just drop his file in and go so we aren't changing the file any.
Maintenance swears they installed it just the way it was. Although they weren't there when it was uninstalled.
Management is standing behind Maintenance. (brother-in-law)

If you have a VFD driving the spindle you can power down the VFD and then switch any two wires going to the spindle motor. Spindles are three phase motor so reversing two legs with reverse the motor.

You might want to try the following two commands

M3 S8000 This command should spin the motor clockwise at 8000 rpm

M5. This should stop the spindle

M4 S8000. This command should run the motor counter clockwise at 8000 rpm


All of these should work if your machine is wired up correctly
