    That's correct - The fuzzy marks on the flat background are created by simulating the pointed tip of the V cutter steeping over the material. If an engraving cutter with a small flat tip is used in the software, the result in the preview simulation will be flat on the bottom of the pocket.

    I hope this makes sense.

    I have just gotten into vcarve I will be buying it soon as for copyrighted material NOTHING that is owned by the Goverment is copyrighted or trade marked if you go to the trademark office on line its there somewhere.
