Hi All - so what is/are the easiest way to convert JPG scans of shapes into a format that can be imported into CAM/CAD programs?

Raster to vector conversion, but the results will likely not be all that good.
My preference would be to import the .jpg and trace over them in the CAD program.

I've used Inkscape before (free) but the image has to be pretty high resolution to pick up the details.

Also use Inkscape or Alphacam art (Vectric aspire).

    Postprocessors, VBA macros, .NET programming.
