    Hello everybody
I have build a punching press and I would like to simulate it a little bit, move component parts and so on. Is it possible to download springs on the internet that actually work like normal springs?
The most springs that I got so far were rigid drawn component parts- I have seen it before I just cannot remember where.
One was able to build in these springs and they reacted to the function “move parts” like a compression spring

    Many thanks in advance

    Hello

I don’t think that exists readymade.
However it’s possible to make the parts “adaptable” in SolidEdge (from ST4 i believe).
For that you to define the corresponding Sync. Parts into an assembly as “adaptable” and defined the corresponding variables –in your case properly the lengths.
