Cadet 700l chuck clamp sensor shorts when activate

Chuck clamp proximity switch shorts every time activated, shutting down control panel.
checked all wires for short from prox switch to conversion board.
tried different ports of ph1 distribution block, putting wire from port to xb-hs-1-b3
conversion board connector.
changed fub p4m4 and conversion board, swapped switches, new cables all with same result,

Could it be the chuck clamp proximity switch short itself?
Try to replace a new chuck clamp proximity switch and see what happens.

Forgot to mention I switched cables to sensors and same result,
always on clamp side. put clamp parameter from O.D. to I.D.
that changes clamp sensor to unclamp, unclamp sensor to clamp.
the short happens when unclamped now.
short always stays with same wire going to conversion board connector.

Quite chaotic diagnostic. Once again, if rewiring to another LS the fault moves with? So the inductive LS itself is faulty.
If fault stays at the same place regarding conversion board, check the input of the conversion board. Should be resistor there. Check it.
