Newbie - Used MG305-03445 Pendant Hangs on Validate File
Hello CNC experts!
Newbie to the CNC world. Bought and a used machine 5 weeks ago and suffered through trial and error alone to get to the point we are today. (WIth much help from this forum) As mentioned being newbs we aren't sure our setup is correct when it comes to the file creation. After finally locating the PSS software and getting the router on our network, we can send and see .plt files at the pendant. When selected and started pendant hangs on validating file.
I have no way of knowing if this is because of something in the file we haven't correctly created or something else.
The machine works fine with just selecting a shape from Pendant, but freezes and has to be shut off and on(assume correct way unless someone has a better idea) when any file is selected from DNC.
Still trying to decide on software but in a free trial of Enroute. Could easily be a setting in that software or something we have missed in the PSS software.
Would be great if anyone has a link to the manual as the one I found and downloaded online says 3000 but seems to be newer version.
Any ideas or help is much appreciated.

Yes we get a validating file and that's it. Only way to clear is to shut machine down.Originally Posted by MCPservice
We have been playing around with settings from Enroute and added the driver, tooling and other things that we assume are needed but still no luck.
Machine works fine from the pendant just cutting circles and squares.
We just aren't sure if there is information missing from the file or something else. Thanks!!
