Post SpectraLight and Mach3: XML File Share

Has anyone been using the parallel cable conversion using the original controller, I believe controller 0200. It only has two axis, x and z according to the manual?

It you can share your XML file to figure things out with the pins out, I will appreciate it.

If there's anything else I need to do beside the cable to make the motors move, please share. Thank you.

U can find info (even on this forum) what U need to change on the ghenuine main board to make it work with M3. As far as i remember it requires cutting and resoldiering 1 or 2 pcb tracks.

I've been looking for this information about cutting and desoldering the tracks. I started to experiment with Mach3. So far I can enable the controller to energize the two motors and I can activate the spindle when hitting the spindle button. But no movement on the motors. I rechecked that parallel crossover cable but nothing there. If anyone has any insight, let me know. I even went to increase the step pulse to 15us and nothing. I will try to enable the Y axis just in case the controller board just has two axis.

I guess there can be an answer:

But not every link is working now. Maybe try to contact shannon_haworth for some info.
