When te machine starts de operation runs into the first positions and start interpolation Y an Z but X doesn't move. I dont know how make the machine move X axis.
I hope you can help me with this issue.
Re: Hitachi Seiki Hi Cell23 Interpolation Y,Z + X linear movement.
Hello. thank you for your help.
G19 is the operation for interpolation Y and Z + a (a= linear movement for any other axis that is not on the interpolation) this case is X.
I will try deleting G19 but then do you recomend other code for replace this operation?
Re: Hitachi Seiki Hi Cell23 Interpolation Y,Z + X linear movement.
Are you trying to use live tooling on a lathe ?
With a thread in the X-axis?
G19 would be used.
The arc is in YZ plane (J&Ks) with pitch control in the X axis?
Normally threadmilling a R/H thread is to climb cut with a start at bottom of hole moving in CCW direction .... so the chip is not recut & is left under the cutter.
I don't see any code to start milling mode, or start the live tooling
... not sure, but are you programming 4 points for 1 pitch ?
... check that X is not doubling pitch in diameter mode. And milling mode turns X into radius values.
Can your machine interpolate in 3 axis similaniously ?
