hey thinking about getting 7x7 and was wondering if anyone knew if it would route wood such as cedar
and if anyone could tell me about how long it would take the 7x7 to say route out a 4 inch circle 1/2 deep
    in 3/4 in blank ?
    Thanks

I have a zen 12x12 it will cut wood without much problem make your cuts shallow the deeper you make the machine cut in one pass the more chance there is of deflection

I agree with Cancnc, I have used the Zen Toolworks 7x12 to make a few picture frames from cedar and it cuts nicely. I would venture to say if you use an 1/8th inch end mill with a feed rate of 1000mm per minute and a depth of 1mm per pass, about 20 minutes. However it depends on which spindle and bit combination you use as to what the best feedrate and cut depth is and how long it will take.
