Default Xylotex 425 motors with gecko G540?

I have a xylotex box and motors and am planning to upgrade to a gecko 540. Can I use the 425 oz motors with the gecko?

I'm using that motor with the G540 on my X2 mini-mill z axis.
It's not the ideal choice (high inductance ?) but it works no problem.

Anyone who says "It only goes together one way" has no imagination.

If you are using high pitch lead screws (15 to 20 tpi) then the 269s would be the recommended choice. If you are using lower pitch screws, like 5 tpi ball screws, then the 425s would be the better choice.
