Default Cutting drawer liner material with OTC, Holddown solution needed

I am considering fabricating a small series of partially irregular shaped drawer liners.
I am planing of using a regular CNC Maschine equipped with an oszilating tangential knife. Coming from the woodworking side of things, machine, OTC etc are less of an issue. But how can I get the material down to be cut? Depending on the material there might be more or less friction. Double-sided tape is not an option I would consider. Any ideas or even better experience?

A vacuum table sounds like it might be a good option.
