    hello i need some help ,i have nima 23stepper motor 10kg torque can i use it to build cnc lathe i have mach 3 and arduino controller also which will be best

    You could use nema 23 motors to build a lathe and mach3 would work best for a lathe from what i have tried arduino grbl isn’t supported turning.

    I use nema17 steppers on my lathe (X,Z), a nema 23 or 24 for the spindle (C) and GRBL 1.1f for controller. Driving the spindle using a stepper makes it possible to use GRBL for threading, broaching knurling and a lot of other cool stuff.
    The whole CNC conversion cost less then $100 and it works very well!
