Dial Indicator for 4-axis Rotary
Howdy!
I need a dial indicator in MM with an angle for a 3-axis tree mill with a 4th axis rotary.
I already have a vertical dial indicator for measuring the Z-axis between the spindle and part/bed (straight up and down) which is great for 3-axis milling... but now I need one to measure between the spindle and rotary.
I want to be able to rotate the part and see the changes in diameter... also need to be able to run the dial indicator down the shaft of the rotary to make sure it is flat or angled properly.
So I need something that attaches to the Z-axis spindle, then leans to something between 45-90deg for dragging.
Doesnt need to be super high accuracy... 0.001mm would be perfect, but I'll settle for 0.01mm too
Can someone point out preferably an eBay item?

I think what you are looking for is a Dial Test Indicator (DTI). Normally the stylus is rotatable through 180 degrees or a bit more. 0.001mm? That's pretty high resolution, lab grade hardware. 0.01 - 0.02mm is reasonable for shop use.
