    Default Non-Chinese parts. Where?

Hello CNC experts. Where I can find linear guides, ball screws, steppers and controllers that are NOT Chinese?

My need is for DIY or low production CNC Routers. Willing to spend a little bit more, maybe 10%?

    What I found:

    Oriental Motors (Japan)
Hiwin (Korea, but I see that also comes from China)
    Gecko (USA)

You know any other interesting source?

    Thanks!

    I think McMaster-Carr sells Hiwin. https://www.mcmaster.com/lead-screws...ws-and-nuts-6/

I think Motion Industries is the distributor for Thomson products.

    Hi,

Willing to spend a little bit more, maybe 10%?
That's a bit optimistic. My experience is that once you start buying US/Japanese?European parts the price doubles and triples.

This is the place I go for quality second hand and new old stock parts:

I suspect it would be closer to 10x, not 10%

Indeed. I went Europe for my controller and breakout board. The rest of my stuff is from Aliexpress.
For instance, I wanted a particular isolation board the other week. Paid £15 on Ali, Amazon UK wanted near £50!.

I have used Hiwin also, very nice ball-screws but very hard if you have to turn them down. (Ceramic tooling needed).
They probably say China because China still have a claim on Korea as Chinese territory
I have used Misumi for hardware, very high quality and reasonable prices.
    Import fees paid into Canada.

    Hi,
Hiwin is a Taiwanese brand but I suspect that they are manufactured in China.

I use Delta servos, and while Delta is a Taiwanese brand the manufacturing is largely done in China. I am very impressed with them and have come to
the conclusion that there is nothing wrong with Chinese manufacture, its only the standard to which they work that matters, if they work to a high standard
set by the parent company then all is well.

The Chinese should produce decent motors, they have the market cornered for rare earth magnetic material!
The biggest problem I have found with Chinese manuf. is the lack of tech support.
