    Default analog input

Is there any way to get these drives to work on an analog +-10v input? I see converters going the other way and a discontinued one from usdigital. I'm just not sure if I'm not using the correct terms in my searches or if they don't exist (maybe for good reason?) Baiscally I'm looking for a decent drive that I can use with the ajax controller. thanks in advance for any help

what drive? most servo drives take a 10v bipolar signal.

Ah, Now that i see where the message is actually posted.... sorry about that.

They have step + direction drives only. Not sure if there is a converter to go from volts to step and dir. why not get a servo drive and motor that is able to take the input you are looking for?

Thats what I'm looking for at this point. The vipers seem to be a good fit other than the input part and have good reviews and a good price. The stuff I am finding with analog inputs are in the $1200-1500 price range vs $250 for the vipers. I'm trying to learn the differences.

Still need to add a motor to that to at that point, or do you have one already? Take a look at ADVANCED Motion Controls Servo Drives Brush Brushless Motor

you'll need to check into the encoder connections of the motor to see if it will be compatible with the drive.
