    Default Tuning the Viper 200

I finally got the PMDX 126 and Mach 3 and Viper 200 to work together.
Using Viper tune What are the Settings of the drives from the factory?
I have played with it so much and every thing is out of whack, would like to start
from these factory settings and start to tune from there.
I Re did a Milltronics Partner 4 Knee mill. With above equipment.
Get the X axis to move int the Mach 3 Motor tune and it moves exactly the amount of distance i tell it to.
But when I use the Jog Buttons it moves a little and faults out the drive.
So i need to tune the motor in some more,Any ideas on ideal settings for this?
My First redo using servos,so its a new learning curve for me for sure.
just happy to have gotten this far Once i get the X axis then on to Y and then Z.
and going to start recording settings for future reference.

    Thanks for any Help

Its probably because when you say to move a certain position your telling it the feed rate correct? And if you are moving it with the jog buttons, those may be wide open feedrate and it faults at the set acceleration and top IPM. Hope this helps Turn all your axis setting down to like 20 ipm and start from there.

Ok ,got the encoders checked out with a O-Scope and 2 of them are bad, so being that 2 are gone ,i want to replace all three
with new ones. Does anybody have any Suggestions for this?. Brand ,Model.and or dealer,or website.
And what kind will work work with the Viper 200?. Trouble is this is a spare time project and have trouble focusing on it,
Any way thanks for the help. So Far everything is working well, with the viper tune. and once i get the encoder problem fixed,
Things will be on the way to making chips .
