    Hello

could you please Jonne make some comparison between Brother TC225 and MAHO 300c or MAHO 500 or MAHO 600 cnc machines?

is Brother TC225 intended to be use for all kind of milling, for steel, aluminum etc... or just for light milling, drilling and tapping?

I have some offers for both kinds (Brother TC225 and MAHO) but don't know much about them. Is Brother TC225 better than MAHO 300c for example or better than MAHO 500?

could you, or somebody make some short review on this

    thanks

Thanks to the Photobucket and their new policy, the photos are gone. Here's all over again.

    Hi Jonne,

I'vw just a TC229 year 1995 and has exactly the same error like you had on tbe TC225
Do you know where is that chip located inside the driver and how to change where to buy etc.

    Your help would be great.

    Thank you!

It has "little" problem with it's speed command, it ran to limits with all axes when EM-stop have set off. That problem got fixed just replacing DAC chip (btw, there's pretty weird system for VMCD, same DAC gives speed command for each axis by sample&hold chips,

Call yamazen in the US. If it exists as a part, they will have it.
The original poster machined a new one from scratch.

Aslo check ebay. Some people on there part out brothers and may have that part listed. Be aware though that the tc225 changed the atc mech mid way, so there may be 2 different variations.

    Stop overheating the spindle? :P

Sorry. I think most of us have removed the brother control. Johannes has a manual in pdf form. I have not heard from him in a while though.

    Hi,
I too use Delta B2 series servos, very impressed with the quality and performance for the price. I bought a USB-to-IEEE1394 to program my servos. Do you use the set-up and tuning
software or do you manually program the drives?

    Craig
