Cool Have you Ever used Terminal Enclosures in a project?

    Hello Guys,

I have been a stealth viewer for many years now and finally decided to sign up so I can partake in these amazing forums. That being said the title of this posting is the question I'm wondering.

Has anyone ever used Terminal Enclosures aka Terminal Boxes in a project?

Here is a Pic of one and a link would love to know your feed back I see people mentioning wiring and thought it may help you guys along the way for one of your projects. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Welcome! What are you thinking of building? The terminal boxes look ok. You really need to ask yourself if the machine is going to be portable? Does everything need to connect permanently or are plugs of some sort needed? If I watch the forums much, I want to build stuff like the best fabricators here have. Of course do I need it? Do I even understand how it works? Or how to use what I have to the best of my abilities. The best idea is to get started. You will always see a better way to do it but you have to have a starting point. Enjoy and again welcome.

Is a lot more power than I need , but I overbuild anyway ... just in case .

Is there any way to get a copy of those files? I would be curious to see more of the details.

hey! i am trying to make my own cnc and am really interested in this design. I am wondering if i can get my hands on the plan. Im fairly sure my budget wont compare to what you put into it, so i am interested in making a budget version of this machine.

if you can help me out with the plans, i can be sure to put up my progress and perhaps put together a solidworks version of these sketches.

WOW! WOW! WOW! That is gantry router, mill, shop. Applause, applause, applause.

I was about to go into a jealous rage, until I finally saw some chips flying and randomly falling all over out of place in your first cuts video. Some disarray helped calm me down.

I really dig your kind of solitude. Can you share the number to the cleaning company?

Did you start the slant lathe build? Perhaps a link from this thread to the new adventure?

    Thanks for sharing!

Great googley moogley, that's beautiful! If you end making the files available I'd love to squirrel them away for a rainy day!

I noticed you made some very nice aluminum covers to protect things in x and y direction, but I cannot see what you used if anything for the back of the Y (between the table and column). Can you take a picture of the covering if any and shar with the group?

    Very nice work!

I just shadow this side, but had to register to make this post...
Katran, your workshop and the router & mill you made is truly a reflection of each other.
Wow, I will put it in my living room... or I will sleep in my workshop if I had one like that.
Is this your hobby? what do you do for a living?
