    Default Front panel Label

    Hi

I have created a vetric operation for cutting out holes to mount switches and i want to create a professional looking front panel with all the switches labelled up.

How can i go from my vetric drawing to a accurate print of the text?

what i have is a black project box and i need white writing labelling the switches.

How are you wanting to create the labels? Printing or engraving?

I would get some 1/16" black (or any color) on white engraving plastic from Gravograph or Rowmark. You engrave through the top layer to reveal the white core. You could either make a label that goes above the switch and attach with double sided tape or a label with the mounting hole in it and have the switch mount through it and your box. These are commonly refered to as lamicoids/lamacoids in industry.

Strange you just mentioned that because i just started looking into it. I'm just trying to find a supplier here in the UK. A lot of suppliers seem to be for commercial and not hobbyists.

The suppliers local to me in Canada had no issues selling me small quantities of quarter sheets (24" x 12").
