Without seeing the file, or having more information, it's hard to say?
Are you using a V Carve toolpath? Do you have a Start Distance entered?
Using Vcarve Pro 8.5
I trying to make a 1.5” round medallion (acrylic) with arched text at the top and bottom, and horizontal text in the center, all text is 0.2” high, and cut with a 20 digree V bit.
The preview only yields a few dots. Am I trying to do something that can’t be done?
I would surely like some help.
Thanks

Try a deeper cut depth (fixed - 1/3 the material thickness) - the 20* bot might be causing the software to default to a too shallow depth. Typically, the lower the degree the deeper it needs to cut to get legible text.
The attached files were cut with a 20* vbit. 0.375" Poly carbonate - 3.5" o.d. with a 1.0" center.
