Trying to determine how much thinning we will get on a tool using 3/16" thick ABS 4' x 8' sheet forming over a male mold with a 2.5" draw. Forming basically (2) 2' x 8' x 2.5" boxes with (3) depressions 1.75" x 7'6" x 2.5" centered and evenly spaced out `4" between each. Tool will be made of 3/4" thick laminated MDF and have 5 degrees draft all around, but will only have minimal radii in the corners ~.125" machine will be a Belovac 48 X 96 BV C class. End application part will need to hold water and support a fair amount of weight. One piece will be base one will be lid and they will be screwed together. Anyone have a guess as to how thin the corners will get?
