rotary axis setup
hi everyone,i am trying to setup a rotary 4th axis on my cnc router.Im using planet cnc tng software.Im using a 1/8 stepper motor and 3-1 gear ratioI am struggling to move the chuck the programmed amount consistantly.Is anyone able to supply me with any info or calculations.I am assuming I may have the micro step settings slightly incorrect.
