Matsuura MC-760V Spindle issue

We have an old Matsuura MC-760V2 mill with a Yasnac MX2 control.

Lately, at spindle stop (M05) or orient (M19) command usually for tool change, the spindle physically stops or orients, but the spindle run indicating light stays on, and the machine pauses sometimes from a few seconds to multiple minutes without alarm or error before continuing with the operation.
Normally the spindle run indicator light turns off when the spindle stops. Even now it eventually turns off after the pause.
I assume, that there is a switch or sensor that is malfunctioning.
Would anyone be able to help us to troubleshoot, and locate the faulty item?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
