Default Air compressor and Air Dryer

Hi , I would like to know if I were to match a undersize refrigerated air dryer to a air compressor, will the output air flow from my air compressor be affected?
Or the results would simply be the air output is not as dry and cool as stated by the air dryer, ie 70 % of desire results.

Air capacity of air dryer : 1200 liters / min
Air compressor capacity : 1500 liters / min

The cost of larger air dryer weighs far more than our budget, and we just require drying of our current air output from our compressor to reduce at least 70% of vapour from our air pipes and system

    Thanks

The air flow should be OK unless the air path through the drier is very small. The real problem is that it won't be as efficient at drying air at full flow. As you said, about 70%
