Default Tsudakoma rncm-251r rotary worth saving?

I was given a tsudakoma rncm-251r rotary table not to long ago and am finally getting around to bothering with it. The drive motor is missing, as is the accompanying gear. I currently have a VH65 on my Fadal 3016 and would like to possibly have a dedicated truinnion table. I originally intended to rebuild the unit and adapt a glentex motor to the tsudakoma table. I was hoping to get some opinions on adapting a Fadal (Glentek) motor to the tsudakoma. Is it worth the time and effort? Is it even possible? The Tsudakoma unit looks to be in pretty good shape, it doesn't look like it has any damage, but I will not know until I tear into it. Any suggestions?

It will definitely need a tear down and clean up if I go through with this.

Good Lord - what a solid bit of steel.
Nah, not worth saving - pass it on.

You should be able to buy the pinion almost off the shelf. Maybe Tsudakoma might even sell one to you? RIGHT size! (Spare Parts Dept.)

    Cheers
