You'll spend more than $300 getting the mounting surfaces machines to those tolerances.
What are the lengths of the rails?
I have to think that your budget is nowhere near big enough.
I have a budget of $300 for linear rails and ball screws for an EDM machine. Because there are no cutting forces with EDM the rails do not need to be very robust, but I would hope to maintain an accuracy of .0005".
I have not been able to find dimensional tolerances from HIWIN or THK, the main manufacturers I was looking at, or what components I should use to get the best results. Is there a better manufacturer for this purpose that still fits my budget?
Are these tolerances realistic for my budget?
Could I go even cheaper?
Dimensions
x axis: 300mm
y axis 600mm

I will need 2 600mm rails and 2 300mm rails, along with 1 600mm screw and 1 300mm screw. I have access to the proper machinery to get those tolerances on the mounting surfaces, the $300 is just for the rails and screws. If my budget is too low what would be an appropriate budget? What if I decreased my expectations to 0.001"?
If you can get away with 15mm rails, then look at these.

You're probably looking at $700-$1000
