    Default Lathe tailstock barrel keeps turning

    This is on a new machine 11X26? something from Grizzly. After center drilling I try to drill with a small bit in a tapered chuck in MT3 tailstock. The barrel keeps turning, it grabs the screw from my control and pulls the barrel forward towards the headstock. Any ideas?

    The tailstock barrel should have a groove along the side,
    - the tailstock body should have a set/grub screw ( or similar ) that projects into the barrel groove to stop rotation
    - this item is possibly not set correctly or sheared off,
