Sorry if this question is quite trivial...

Due to some problems I tore the mini-mill down and measured backlash after dialing it in.

I have measured 0.0060 (X), 0.0032 (Y) & 0.0009 (Z) in inches.

Until now, I used the mill for small easy parts but I find myself making more and more complex parts.
I understand however that when I use backlash compensation in Mach3 several functions won't work anymore (Constant velocity etc).

So my question would be if I should enable the backlash compensation or just live with it (and buy a X3 and converting it with ground ballscrews)...
