cam software handling edge drilling

Hi,

I am looking for affordable cam software that handles also edge drilling. We have currently V-carve pro which is doing a good job but will never handle horizontal drilling. Wanting this you immediately enter other software like Alphacam or Mastercam which is very expensive. Is there any software like a V-carve that would handle in addition horizontal drillings and toolings? V-carve is good for use on nesting CNC's but when you come to a point to point CNC I can not find an equivalent to v-carve.

what controller do you have? the side drilling is usually a macro in the controller.
i use vcarve pro for my edge drilling with the post processor i wrote.
works in 4 directions.
