3D toolpathing to 3D Model

Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone knows of any cam software that can save the 3D Rendered Toolpath to be used in 3D model.
Like a V-Carve Toolpath exported as a 3D file. Or if you know why it is difficult to do please explain.

I have used fusion 360 to save toolpath simulations as solid models, in order to use it as stock for subsequent operations.

Vectric's Aspire can do it.

Can Fusion do V-Carving in text? I have Fusion but really haven't used it much. Need to sit down and learn how to use it. I get a little overwhelmed by all the options. Thank you Jimmy

I did it yesterday.

Create the toolpath.
Preview it.
Create component from preview.
Export component as .stl file.

Fusion can do this with the engrave toolpath. If you want an easy try f-engrave.

Yes that works. Funny thing is when I contacted Tech support they told me it didn't do it. Must of misunderstood me. Thank you for your help.
What would be the best way to convert that STL to a solid in your opinion?

What is the end goal? Why do you need a solid model? If your goal is a solid model, then I'd model it, rather than trying to get a model from a toolpath.

I just prefer solid model over that triangle mesh. (put it in 3D drawing and render it)
I like the fact that you get what you see with the toolpath generator. Not sure if I could duplicate that easily modeling it?
I also have a bug with maybe my computer not sure but Aspire renders the letter correctly but the STL is screwed up. Latest Ver 9.511 I will send pictures.

Typically, converting an .stl to a solid model will result in a solid model with a faceted surface, which would be identical to the .stl.

Can you explain the process you are using, and what's "Screwed up"?

I think I figured it out. Changed the Z position to the Machine bed. STL file looks good now.
