Turning / lathe cam recomendation for hobby / home user

As per the title....

I use sheetcam for 2.5d plasma and lathe, , wondering what is available in the marketplace for lathe / turning for a hobby / home user with a small lathe

Similar price point to sheetcam plus simplicity.

Anyone use CAMBAM for lathe / turning?

CamBam will generate lathe code, but it's a bit of a PITA to use for turning IMHO. I do use CamBam a lot for my mill and love it for that. It's quick and simple for 2.5 D work.

What I use for the lathe is Fusion 360. It works great, pretty much, and has the flexibility to make it do what you want. A bit of a learning curve, but worth the effort. For more complex parts, I also use Fusion 360 for the mills. Fusion 360 is free to hobbyists.

I did not know fusion360 was free to hobbyists. I saw it was free forstudets for3 years and £36 a month for non students. I will look again did not want to invest the learning curve only for the rug to be pulled.
