Default Simple question,... I think; Mirroring an STL file

    Hi -

I have an STL file of some topography and I want to cut it into the back of a piece of acrylic with a 3 axis router. I dont have much experience cutting out 3D objects, just some basic trial stuff to learn on. I can take the STL file and CAM up the G-code well enough but flipping it upside down and cutting it into the back of a piece of stock has got me stymied. Can anybody point me in the right direct as far as software or methods to do this? I am learning Fusion360 and I have EstlCam. I'm open to getting other software if I need to. Thanks in advance.

Get MeshMixer to play with STL files. Freeware, and made for STL manipulation.

    CAD, CAM, Scanning, Modelling, Machining...
