    Ah, now I understand you.

But I have to tell you that I cannot interpret the complete DXF command set. I do not use a library but programmed everything by hand.
You can see from the amount of the manuals that there are countless commands, some of which are only available for historical reasons. There are also some commands with mathematically very sophisticated functions, whose realization would require a lot of work and time.

The DXF import is only a small subitem in my program and I hope you understand that I want to concentrate on the most important things first. But I will put this item on my todo list.

    Thanks for your help

    Dear friend GrblGru,
It doesn't matter which version of DXF.
In the file “autocad_2012_pdf_dxf-reference_enu.pdf”, attached, look for the word “bulge”.
See attached a part of the source code.

I was wondering if it was possible to do an internal boring operation? (for lathe turning)

Many thanks, great program (I've only dabbled with it from time to time).

    @Armando
I heard you. But as I said before, I have it on the list, but there are more important issues at the moment.

    @robertspark
Yes, there's a trick to it. You just have to clamp your lathe tool turned 180° around its lengthwise axis.
Then you work on the rear edge of the workpiece and you can use the normal automatic program.

    @GrblGru
My goal was to help you, the software is yours!
I installed version 3.49.19 and didn't like what I saw.
    I lost interest...

It is very unfortunate that you have lost interest in GrblGru.
But of course I accept your decision and would like to thank you again for your help in the past.
    Wish you a good time.

    Hello,
    how can I send you 'Language_french.txt' (112 kb) for 'GrblGru-3.49' ?
    Good day.

    Release notes V3.50

I finally managed to finish the 3rd video on how to make inlays.
At the same time I also uploaded a new release version V3.50 to my WebSite.

The video has become longer than usual.
This is because I also tried to tell a little bit about the background and possible problems.
In most internet examples about inlays, only very simple geometries are shown.
There everything always works at the push of a button. In 'my' reality, however, these examples never occur.
I hope by providing the necessary function and the corresponding explanations to put you in a position
to determine the necessary steps by yourselves and thus to tackle more demanding projects.
Of course this is a bit more work for the user, but it is also more fun.

Suggestions and also criticism are as always welcome.

    Have fun with GrblGru

    Hello,
here is the first French (français) translation !

The colors are not completely translated, because I can not know which element they are related.

Thank you. That's great. I'll add it to the program right now.
Let me know if I can return the favor sometime.

Hello, is it possible we can run 5axes machine with GrblGru . Does Grbl has RTCP control built in..

    Thanks for your interest.
GrblGru can currently only calculate GCode for 4 axes. But you can create programs for 5 axes with the extended macro function.
This means that the actual control actually works for any number of axes, if the connected controller provide this.
The data exchange with one of the following controller programs (GRBL, TinyG, Mega.5X) is currently only possible via USB.

Thanks for the answer.. I m really impressed by your work.. In modern control software RTCP or TCP for contineously 5 axes are builtin.. They do not rely on CAM software.. Mach3 don't have kinematics for RTCP sadly.. So if the work axes are not centered with the CAM Gcode axes then you will get weird moves.. See YouTube videos..
RTCP (Rotated Tool Center Point), also known as TCPM?TCPC or RPCP, refers to the function maintaining rotary axes at constant angle between tool and surface to be machined.
I am asking because you can implement that in your programming... I hope one day u will make working CNC 5axes machine and u will find why RTCP is important...

Thank you for the kind words.
To be honest, I have not heard of RTCP (Rotated Tool Center Point) before. I have it mixed up with the RealTime Control Protocol. That also explains my answer to a misinterpreted question.

But I read it up once now and it seems to be very interesting. I'm just starting out with my 3D development and still have a lot to learn.
So it will take quite some time, but it is a lot of fun.

Just a short info. There is a new beta version v3.50.3 on my website.
In lathe mode, when loading DXF files, the job template whose name starts with a '#' is now automatically started. I hope this makes turning geometry from DXF files even easier.

I am especially happy about a new french translation from user "LETARTARE". On name of all french speaking users a big thank you.

Only using GrblGru since xmas and till now the only program I understand. I found 2 funny things in the 3.50.x versions, I have one shape that does not take pocket zig-zag and I have saved a project which it doesn't want to load again. Do I do something wrong? I have a heart with text, the heart I want pocketed around the text, and I want to pocket the inside of the text. The heart works, 3 insides of the text work. One shape takes the zigzag but it doesnt show anything (doesnt do anything either)

Thank you for your great software. I try 3.50.0 now.

It seems the Settings > Gcode section has no effect on the Gcode TempNC.nc output file.
    x, y , z ,a ,b stay lowercase even I changed to uppercase X Y Z A B
Cmds at program begin (T1 S500 ..) and end (M30) do not appear in TempNC.nc file

Can the ( .. ) comments in the Gcode between every line be disabled? It doubles the filesize and reduces readability.

    Thank you

In Typ: Mills 3 axes , Machine CNC3018 : GCode start and end cmds in Nc output file are added correctly.
The comments ( ) lines are perfect
but x y z are always lowercase char

In Typ: Lathes, Gcode start and end is not added in NC output.
There is an overload of comments between almost every line
