    Question .prt file extensions

I have been using Metalsoft for about 20 years. My current version is 7.01.

We have several thousand part drawings with the .prt file extension.

We are currently installing a new laser witch requires DXF, DWG , or IGES

    format.

Does any one know of a way to convert our PRT drawings without upgrading our Metalsoft software. I hate to that since we will be getting a new turret in a year or so.

Bonesclark, I am using Fabriwin, The option to save a part as a DXF file is not available in my version. We can load a DXF or IGES file but can only save .PRT
    files

sorry mate i am currently using v 2011 in your version you must use the exporter to convert to a dxf this app is located on your start menu in "3D AND 2D FOR FABRIWIN 32" in here you should find the exporter open this app then load your .prt file and then using one of the icons you should be able to convert to dxf

I have a 100 or so Faberwin .prt files on disk. I'm looking for someone to convert them to .dxf files. I'm willing to pay for this service.
