Default Wring for a touch plate on a CNC machine

    Hi All,

I have a small Zenbot CNC machine that uses a Mechatronics 3 Axis controller. I want to add a Z axis touch plate to the system to make tool changing a bit quicker.

I have the Mechatyronix circuit design and I have an idea how to build it but I'm unsure where the earth wire should go on the Mechatronics circuit board.
It mentions not to interconnect the ground wires with the LPT ground, which has me confused, I don't know where to attatch the ground wire. I thought to use PIN 15 of the parallel connector, unless anyone has a better option to suggest?
There's a copy of the circuit attached.

I did send this question to Shaun of Zenbot who supplied the machine but I didn't get a reply.

Thanks in advance for any help.
    Joe,
