Default Should I just GET IT DONE!!!

So. I'm going to get this damn machine fully finished this year even if it kills me!. Get all the switches fitted.
Get the X ballscrew sitting more level (it pulls the table down to one side as it moves by as much as 0.15mm).
Get that lovely 1.8kw servo fitted.

I'm a little tired of Mach3 and Win XP (even though it works perfect) and really considering UCCNC for a change.

    CNCDrive Shopping list as follows:

    UC300eth - 5lpt.
2x UCBB dual port boards with all cables
1 extra UCSB single port board +cable
    Extra IDC26 to DB25 cable
    Analogue cable IDC16 to DB15
    UCCNC itself.
    Should cover all eventualities
    Prob £400gbp ballpark once imported
    Ouch!!

Then on top of that. A plain DB25 board (is for input pins so may need optoisolation, yes??). And a DB15 plain breakout board for analogue 0-10v.
    To fit on din rail.

    Anything I've missed??

Of course you could just take care of that X ballscrew issue, install LinuxCNC and start making stuff.Which would cost very little and if you ran the software from a memory stick, you could revert to the old setup in a couple of minutes and with no annoying table movement.

You can't use all the pins on these with a UC300ETH.

The UCBB requires one standard port and one "input" port.
The UCSB requires one standard port.
That would require 3 standard ports and two "input" ports.

The UC300ETH has two standard ports, and three "input" ports.

If you want to use all 5 ports, maybe one UCBB, one UCSB, and two cnc4pc C10D's?

Or something like a UB1 with UD1 daughterboard.
