That PC will work, but if you want the interface to be responsive, I think you should consider a faster processor.

Hi Guys,
I'm currently about to upgrade my cnc router from DSP to UCCNC. I will be purchasing a Mini pc as per the link below:
ACEPC Mini PC 6GB RAM/120GB ROM Windows 10 Pro (64 bit) Intel Celeron Processor J3455 Desktop Micro Desktop Computer Support 2.5" SSD/mSATA SSD/Gigabit Ethernet/Dual-Band WiFi /4K /Dual HDMI https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07JHJM4SB/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_i_JDw2EbDGAE8PN
I hope its up to the job as it's only uccnc running on it?
My plan was to run UCCNC on this machine above and I also have another laptop in the workshop for CAM work. My question is can I have the mini PC connected to a network switch along with the CAM laptop. Mainly to save transferring via a usb stick to be honest hopefully.
The UCCNC control board would also have to be connected to the network switch as the pc doesn't have a duel network card. Will the control board be ok via the switch or can this cause issues?
Also to make this work if possible, which UCCNC control board would you suggest?
Thanks
Paul

Personally, I'd buy a Mini PC with both Wifi and ethernet, and use the ethernet for the controller, and the wifi to connect to your network.

Checkout the specs of this one:

It is an I7 with 8GB of RAM and 120SSD with VSA Mount, so you can mount it on the back of a Touch Screen VESA Monitor.
