    Default Comm Port

Hi, when using Qmodbus I can run my VFD (HuanYang GT-7R5G-2) meaning using register 4096 1 is FDW, 2 is REV, and 5 is Stop. First I am using mach3 ver 062 and a Chinese usb motion controller with modbus. Problem is when I try to run on Mach3 I get this message " Can't open comm port" first let me say that in Port and Pins I have tick Modbus input/output, Modbus plugging also Events driven serial control, setup comm. Port in general config as com3, 19200 baud, 8, 1, e, when in Modbus configuration window, comm. Settings are set, modbus run is tick and when I click non TestModbus I get the message " Can't open comm port" hoping someone can shed light on my problem

Do you have another program that is already using the port? Like a serial monitor or Putty? Also, check to see if it is a permissions thing? Have you tried to run Mach3 as an administrator?
