It's a matter of personal preference.
When I see monitors mounted to the machine, they always seem like they'd be in the way.
To avoid going to and from my keyboard/mouse and the CNC machine, I was thinking about a touch screen monitor (23" Acer) mounted on a remote arm on the CNC table, and
when I looked at the VistaCNC pendant (P4S)+shipping , I realised they are about the same price.
If you were going to choose between the two, which one would be more useful ?
Appreciate the wise ones feedback.

Why not both?
I have a P4S and a Planar touch screen. The P4S is invaluable for moving the table, making cuts "manually," getting setup for probing, but the touch screen stands out for resets, probing operations, navigating anything on the screen.
My monitor is on a moveable arm with a keyboard and mouse pad. I like to keep that stuff out of the way when I'm not using the machine, but it's also nice to be able to get it into the heart of the action when I am machining.
