I just answered at the UCCNC forum.
The G540 will not work on Port 1. Try it on Port 2 or Port 3 and see if that helps.
Edit. I think I was reading too fast.
What breakout board are you using? And what pins have you tried?
I have a UC300ETH mounted on a 5LPT board inside of a small enclosure from CNC4PC. I have three DB 25 ports on the outside of the board. They’re labeled 1, 2 and 3 and are connected to ports 1, 2 and 3 on the internal board.
When hooking a BoB up to Port 2 or 3 which I use to connect a Home switch and configure it in UCCNC, I then switch to the diagnostic screen. When I do that, it will show me the pin in the home switch setting, but they are flashing on and off. When I activate the switch the home light stays solid. The switches are wired normally closed until activated.
Port 1 is connected to a G540. When I connect a home switch to it (position 3 for instance) and configure it in UCCNC it works fine. No flashing light in the diagnostics screen. Problem is driving me nuts!!!! Any help would be appreciated!!
