    Default Need a littel help with Okuma Threading

    Im trying to make a 5/8 18 2A Thread. Ive been programing and running haas Lathes and mills the last 8 years and recently switched to a new employer. they have haas mills but only one lathe - Okuma Crown OSP700L.
    Im unfamiliar with all of the okuma codes and how they should look. They do not have a manual and i cant find one online. hoping you guys can help me.

    This is the Code my software puts out

    THIS IS FROM AN OSP500L THIS SHOULD BE CLOSE TO WHAT YOU HAVE

    G71X.354Z-2.100B60D.007U.002H.04J30F1

    X= X FINAL DIA.
    Z=Z FINAL Z LENGTH
    B=CUTTER TIP ANGLE
    D= DEPTH OF CUT FIRST PASS IN DIA.
    U=FINISH PASS IN DIA.
    H=THREAD HEIGHT IN DIA.

    IN THIS EXAMPLE
    J=THREADS PER INCH
    F=1
    SO THAT ITS READ AS " F/J" =PITCH OF THREAD
    IF NO J WORD IS PROVIDED F WOULD BE THE PITCH OF THE THREAD AS THE CONTROL ASSUMES J=1

    L=CHAMFERING DISTANCE
    A=TAPPER ANGLE
