I have a Trico device that came with the mill - I never used it and now 10 years later I'm thinking about hooking it up. It has two 120v solenoids that are kluged to turn on with a switch. My problem is I can't seem to figure out the fluid/air path. There is a quick connect fitting for the supply and the line goes to one of the solenoids the exit is just to atmosphere. I would have thought it should pressurize the tank, but I can't find a spot for it to go in. The second solenoid has a tube going into the tank and there is a filter on it, so that should be ok. The exit goes to a tube that I expect goes to where you want lube.
I'm reading that the Tricos are supposed to provide an oit vs. a coolant, but does it matter? Somewhere in the bowels of the machine is a pump for flood coolant - the thought of that kind of mess has always been avoided but maybe soe day I should connect it to power just to see if it turns...please stop me 9-)
Any help would be appreciated.
