Replacement stainless tips are thin on the ground, but a lot of people on Amazon and eBay will be happy to sell you M4-threaded probe tips in various lengths and sizes if you just want cheap.

For a Haimer the ball diameter and length are critical but do they actually matter for the passive probe? As long as the ball is round what is the difference between an expensive and a cheap tip?

I'm not looking for cheap (if I did I would not be looking for reninshaw !)

It's just a matter of trying to find the correct part quickly and efficiently within Australia.
