For aluminum, the ripper face mill is awesome.
Looks like a shell mill is in my future. What are guys using that have had good luck, and what should be avoided?

I ran a 2" on. my Torus Pro for 2 years before I got the Brother. Makes a great surface finish on aluminum. I've been using it on the brother for over a year. Still on the original inserts. It's a good cutter for low HP machines. The sharp polished inserts keep the cutting forces low for good stability.
