Default PCNC 1100 y axis stroke mod

    Good day.

Attached are a few pics showing the modification to my mill to increase the y axis motion from 9.5" to 11.02".

I removed 1.1" of the hard stop bumper and modified the limit switch adjustment.

Take care not to increase the travel of the saddle beyond the end of the y axis ways.

I cannot guaranty the same results on your machine, so take care.

Looks like a Kurt D688 vise. I added a subplate underneath the D688 and freed up an inch of Y-axis travel from using vise keys on the middle slot with only the vise. Also I machined two removable 12mm precision holes, one round and one diamond shaped, in the mill bed and put liners in the subplate so no tramming needed.

    Don
