    Default "Factory" Visit...

Flew up from Texas for Airventure and did a side trip to visit Tormach. The new machines are nice and address almost all of my wishlist from the 1100, with the stand in particular seeing lots of nice improvements. Jason was very helpful and patient with my (and my wife's) many questions and spent lots of time with us. It was nice to see all the various tooling and the lathe configurations in person also. Jason ran a demo part for us while there, so we had a customized souvenir to take with us. Now I just need to figure out how to make room for a couple new machines... Hmm.

Nope.. will be all the same except servos and BT30... Don't think they got a proto yet. I'd have been a lot more excited if it had linear rails too.

Didn't Saunders say on a recent video that he had a prototype MX?

Not quite. I believe it is an M that has servos slapped onto it, but no BT30.

Even if they had one, its the same base hardware so wouldn't be much to see. IMO, the MX upgrades should have come with linear rails too. That said, if the price differential isn't excessive I'll get one.
