What makes you think anyone here will have any useful insight on something Tormach themselves have not yet announced publicly?

On another thread I asked about Tormach's price increases due to the new tariffs, but it turned into a political debate. I'm just interested to know how much Tormach is planning on raising prices.
Please stay strictly on this topic and not stray off on to politics.

The tarriffs went up by about 21% (from about 4% to 25%.)
We can assume that base import costs is about ... 50%? of the retail cost. If that is the case, I'd expect them to raise prices by about 11%.
Of course, we don't know how much their base cost is. Could be less, could be more. We also don't know how much margin they're willing to give up to retain sales volume. As they raise prices, they will sell less, and worst case, they need to raise prices MORE to compensate.
They announced, weeks ago, a price increase due to having NOT increased prices in several years. I saw nothing to suggest that took into account the tariffs that JUST went into effect a few days ago. My guess is there will be a second, MUCH larger increase coming soon...

I called Tormach yesterday and from what they are saying, they do not see any substantial increase in their price. I'm assuming maybe they built that into the new price increase in June.... Also does not affect the stock they have that's already landed. Maybe they over ordered knowing about the possible tariffs.

I certainly hope that Tormach has a plan for non-US purchasers.
