Default Delay in M code for cylinders on the lathe

I use these M codes M64 P5 and others to operate the collet closer and the bar puller.

I don't know why but, once in a while, there is a delay, sometimes, 1 to 4 seconds, enough so when the bar puller is going to advance the stock, it's still close.

Anybody have this, Tormach sells an Electrical Noise Suppression Kit, could it be a solution to my problem.

    Thanks, Jeff

How sure are you that the problem is electrical? Your solenoid should have a manual activation button; does the problem still occur with that button? How clean is your air?
