Default Anyone part A2 on RapidTurn?

I am looking for suggestions on a general strategy for parting A2 on the RapidTurn. I have been able to do profiling with minimal issues; however, parting has been a nightmare. I have gone thru lots of inserts with poor results. How would you do it?

I have a 2mm Iscar tool that runs for hundreds of partings through steel on light lathes.

Also the tool needs a very secure solid mounting. Flex will allow killer chatter - if it chatters don't press on... find out why. A2 steel is tough stuff.

    Thanks, Cliff.

I started with a 0.160" and moved to a 0.120". It still seemed like a big bite, so I'll see if I can find a 2 mm one. The chatter was pretty bad and it caused the toolpost to rotate. I ended up adding some dowel pins and that definitely stopped that. Now I just need the right tool.

What are you thinking for feeds and speeds?
