I received my renishaw MI-8 interface yesterday, installed it, and the results I have noticed so far are that when probing a hole, it comes up in the X direction with all Zeros 90% of the time, before it would read usually -.0001 or + .0001, all Zeros were rare. So making an assumption with very little data to back it up, it seems to be more accurate........
So far I am well pleased with it and the install was fairly painless even for a guy in my age bracket!!
This is used with a MP 3 probe with the leads connected for manual operation.
